Queen Victoria's Street

My sister had a $10 off $25 coupon at JC Penny that ended yesterday so we stopped by a store on our way to Orlando for vacation. Of course while she shopped I found myself in Sephora. I really went looking for nails inc. Princess Arcade (which I got and will review soon) as I was on the hunt for the perfect pink glitter, when I saw this:

nails inc. Bling it on Emerald!

The kit comes with an applicator tray, a small brush to dust away stray glitter, a mix of green, blue and silver glitter, and a bottle of Queen Victoria Street nail polish and retails for around, $25 which is what I paid for mine.

I'm not going to review the whole thing as, honestly, I'm not really interested in applying loose glitter to my nails. I am far more interested in the beautiful green polish that came with this set.

My nails are looking slightly worse for wear as I'm on vacation and didn't bring cuticle cream.

Queen Victoria Street is a beautiful grassy green/blue with a yellowish cast, creme. There seems to be a slight dustiness to the colour as well. The formula is delightfully creamy, like...have you ever had (insert Asian culture here: i.e. Thai) doughnuts? If not, I'm sure you've eaten or used sweetened condensed milk. The consistency of the polish is like that but slightly more flowing. I know, amazing right! What you see on my nails is; one coat of O.P.I. Original Nail Envy, one coat (!!!) of Queen Victoria Street nail polish and a quick top coat of Out the Door, which I only used to help dry and protect the polish as it dries decently glossy on its own.

This second picture is a bit more colour accurate as its taken with window filtered daylight and the previous was taken in yellow lit kitchen lights. The bottom pic is also from the kitchen.

You can see slight bald patches and visible nail line in these pictures but I assure you they were not apparent in person at all.

I am always searching for that perfect green, or blue, or teal and this one has definitely found itself at the top of the list.
